He was not in any line. There is a person in the line. After this, when the RBI governor is going, he will become the next. There are 2-3 names, or immediately, he becomes the next. But, he was not in the line.”
On the recommendation
of Rajiv Gandhi(former Prime Minister), Chandra Shekhar ji (Former PM) ki government thi, yeh aaye the, and, at that time, Manmohan Singh was working as his parallel. And, his thinking, his whole strategy, was out of the box. Which, no one was thinking, and there was a big risk in it. He realised that, if we don’t do this, then the matter will go wrong, our country will go bankrupt. So, he used his brain, he prepared the strategy, because of which a lot of things changed…..”
Bajpayee emphasised that the film recognises the work of “unsung heroes” who contribute behind the scenes to serving the country. He said, “We never talk about heroes, because they work behind the scenes, and the country works on their mind, strategy. It is high time that we talk about those unsung heroes who worked behind the scenes and saved us from a big problem.”
Governor Trailer:
The trailer focuses on a crucial period in India’s economic history during the 1990 crisis, when the country was facing severe financial problems. It shows the growing public anger over the economy and the difficult decisions that had to be taken to prevent the nation from collapsing financially. The film appears to recreate the tense atmosphere of that period while exploring a story many viewers may not know much about. Manoj Bajpayee and Adah Sharma feature prominently in the trailer, with both actors playing key roles in the story. Their performances, along with the political backdrop, add to the film’s serious tone. The makers also organised a special screening for young viewers who were unfamiliar with the 1990 economic crisis. The screening allowed them to watch the trailer and interact with the cast and creators.
