Viveck Vaswani Says He Went Out Of His Way For Shah Rukh Khan's Career, Would Help Aryan And Suhana Too

When Shah Rukh Khan first came to Mumbai, it was Viveck Vaswani who helped him around. Viveck is among SRK’s first friends in Mumbai, and for several years, the two have been very close. Viveck was also instrumental in launching SRK’s film career, and in a recent chat with MoneyControl, he said that he would do the same for SRK’s kids- Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan. He also opined that nepotism isn’t a bad practice, as all parents would want to help their kids.

Viveck said, “When I could go out of my way for my friend Shah Rukh, why shouldn’t he (SRK) do the same for his own children? Woh toh dost tha, yeh toh beta hai. He’ll do everything he can for his son. And if he called me and said do anything for Aryan and Suhana, I would do it too. Where’s

the problem in helping the youngsters? Where’s the problem in trying to make them all successful? Where’s the problem?”

“I bless them, I wish them all the success. I thought Suhana was very good in Archies. I thought Aryan directed ‘The Bads of Bollywood’ very well. I’m fully supportive. They’re Shah Rukh’s kids, I’d support them even if it wasn’t that good, like I would my own children. I mean, at our age, we are not going to dismiss people. We’re going to support them. They will make mistakes. They will grow. They will rise,” he said.

Viveck said that just like it was his and SRK’s hard work that built the actor’s career, all artists, insiders or outsiders, must work hard to prove their mettle. However, it is not wrong for families to help their kids. “We are friends. Because if he calls me at two in the morning, I’ll be there. If I call him at two in the morning, he’ll be there too. That’s all that matters,” he added.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting for King. The film will also mark Suhana Khan’s theatrical debut. As for Aryan Khan, he will soon begin work on The Bads Of Bollywood’s second season.
