Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are set to tie the knot today, with the highly anticipated wedding expected to bring together some of the biggest names from music, sports and Hollywood. While the couple has kept most details under wraps, several reports have offered a glimpse into what promises to be one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings of the year.
According to multiple reports, a giant bed was spotted being unloaded at the famous Madison Square Garden on July 2, ahead of the big festivities. According to The Sun, “signage on the box was labeled as ‘VIP Bar 1,’” which has led fans to believe that it could be a prop for one of the bars at the venue.
As per reports, MSG will be transformed into a magical garden from a fairytale for the
wedding. Sources told US Weekly that the wedding will be “whimsical” and “inspired by fairytales”. DeuxMoi also states that the wedding and the reception will follow a “magical midsummer night” theme in terms of decor.
Previously, it was reported that Taylor and Travis were getting a castle built inside the venue. However, this was quickly debunked when a source told People, “Not a castle but it looks very special. They have grass, carpets and canopies, and it looks like a place where you’d get married. There’s a stage set up, but it’s special.” Another source added, “Absolutely not… There’s no castle being built. Not at all.”
A baby grand piano is also reportedly part of the decor, adding to the elegant atmosphere. The venue is said to have been transformed with lush floral installations, towering greenery, manicured grass, romantic canopies and a gazebo-inspired ceremony space. However, the true decor is kept under wraps, and fans are eagerly waiting for photos of the venue.
Reports suggest Swift and Kelce will first exchange vows in a private ceremony attended by their closest family members and friends. A lavish reception is expected to follow later in the day, with hundreds of guests reportedly invited to celebrate the newlyweds.
Security has reportedly been tightened around the venue, with strict privacy measures, non-disclosure agreements for staff and a no-phone policy expected to ensure the festivities remain private. While the couple has not confirmed any entertainment plans, reports suggest that special musical performances could be part of the celebrations.
