New Delhi, Jul 29 (PTI) Watchmaker Timex Group India Ltd on Wednesday reported a 70.55 per cent year-on-year rise in net profit to Rs 25 crore in the June quarter of the current fiscal.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 14.67 crore in the April-June period a year ago, Timex Group India said in a regulatory filing.
Total income increased 29.66 per cent to Rs 219.45 crore in the June quarter of FY27, compared to Rs 169.25 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
Total expenses stood at Rs 185.67 crore in Q1 FY27, up 24.3 per cent YoY.
Commenting on the results, Managing Director Deepak Chhabra said, “This quarter marks another strong step forward in Timex Group India’s growth journey. Our focus on premiumisation, portfolio expansion
and sharper channel execution is driving stronger traction and improved profitability.” “We are seeing consistent momentum across fashion and luxury watch segments, led by rising aspiration, design-led innovation and growing consumer preference across markets,” he said.
Timex Group India Ltd is a part of the US-headquartered Timex Group.
Shares of Timex Group India Ltd on Wednesday settled at Rs 554.70 apiece, down 2.19 per cent, on the BSE. PTI KRH SHM
