Ahsaas Channa played a small role in Abhishek Bachchan’s cult film Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Years later, when Ahsaas sawAbhishek Bachchan at the News18 Showsha Awards, she was confused about whether she should
approach him or if he would remember her. But it was Jr. Bachchan’s one gesture that left Ahsaas with a memory that would last forever.
During a conversation with Humans of Bombay, Ahsaas revealed a cute moment that happened with her at the News18 Showsha Reel Awards and recalled, “I went to an award function where Abhishek Bachchan was also present. I was thinking, should I say hi to him? Will he remember me? I’ll have to remind him. It was going to be awkward, and I was just sitting and staring at him while he was moving around, talking to a lot of people.”

She further continued and revealed, “Then he turned around, looked at me, and came towards me with his arms wide open just to hug me and say, ‘Ahsaas, oh my God, you’ve grown up.’ You have no idea how happy that made me feel.”
This incident during the awards function has left Ahsaas with one of the most beautiful memories, which will stay rent-free in her heart. Talking about how that one incident impacted her, Ahsaas revealed, “When you are that big of an actor and still make someone else feel so comfortable, I think that’s the greatest thing you can do.”
