Ranveer Singh’s spy thriller, Dhurandhar, has been earning great praise from the audiences and critics alike. The film, featuring a stellar cast of Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan, was released on December 5. Viewers have lauded the film for its gripping tale, high-octane action, and the cast’s powerful performance.
The praise isn’t just limited to the Indian audience; Hollywood actor Terry Crews joined the growing list of celebrities appreciating the film. When he met with Ranveer at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday, December 7, he made sure to congratulate the Bollywood star on his latest release.

Taking to his Instagram account, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor shared
a photo of himself and Ranveer playfully posing as if they were about to fight. Both had bright smiles. While the Bollywood actor wore a pink jacket paired with off-white trousers and funky sunglasses, Terry opted for the classic white T-shirt and black pants combo, with a pair of uber-cool glasses.
In the caption, Terry wrote, “Me and the great @ranveersingh at @abudhabigp !!!! Congrats on DHURANDHAR.” He posted the picture set to Dhurandhar’s energetic track, titled “Ez-Ez,” a collaboration between Hanumankind, Diljit Dosanjh, and Shashwat Sachdev.

Dhurandhar: Plot And Cast
Speaking of Dhurandhar, the film, directed by Aditya Dhar, follows Intelligence Bureau Chief Ajay Sanyal, played by R Madhavan, as he leads a high-risk mission to dismantle a terrorist network in Pakistan. Ranveer Singh portrays a 20-year-old Punjabi youth recruited from prison and trained to infiltrate Karachi’s criminal underworld. Filming took place across Thailand, Mumbai, Punjab, and Ladakh between July 2024 and October 2025.
Co-produced by Aditya Dhar, Jyoti Deshpande, and Lokesh Dhar, Dhurandhar generated significant buzz due to its subject matter. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) awarded it an ‘A’ certificate, citing its depiction of the IC-814 Kandahar hijacking, along with references to the 2001 Indian Parliament attack and Operation Lyari.
Several celebrities, including Deepika Padukone, Madhur Bhandarkar, Arjun Kapoor, Yuzvendra Chahal, and others, praised the film’s storyline and the cast’s impressive performances.
Dhurandhar’s Box Office Collection
The film earned Rs 27 crore in India on its opening day, with the total collection surpassing Rs 99 crore by the end of the weekend. According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar’s collection worldwide has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. It now stands at Rs 140 crore.
