Japan seems to have a solution for everything, even for problems we did not know existed in the first place. The country has always been at the forefront of unique and remarkable inventions, ahead of the rest of the world, and has long been celebrated for its clever innovations. And now, one more Japanese innovation has taken the Internet by surprise.
A man, popular for sharing interesting food, travel, and gadget content from Japan, recently showcased a new invention designed for parents. Instead of baby formula in the usual powder form, the country developed baby formula in cube form. Yes, just like sugar cubes, but for baby food. The thought behind it was simple: when a baby is crying loudly, and the parent is half-asleep, busy, or just simply
exhausted, they do not need to measure scoops or worry about spilling it everywhere. They can just put one cube into the feeding bottle and add water. That’s all, and no stress, no mess, and no guessing.
Man Explains The Steps To Prepare The Formula Cube
In the clip, the man said, “You know that half-awake, 3 am chaos, guessing scoops, formula powder everywhere? Japan was like, What if cubes? Looks like sugar cubes, but it’s baby formula.” He then explained the process, calling it “wildly clever.” “One cube equals one serving. No mental math, just really. Drop, add water, shake, done,” he added. In the caption of the post, he asked, “Genius or total nonsense? ” with a thinking emoji face.

Internet Is Divided Over Baby Formula Cube
The video has left the Internet divided. While many were impressed by such an innovation, others believed that newborns should be breastfed rather than formula-fed. One user said, “This actually saved me when travelling out of town or internationally. Would vouch for this! Milk brand is Meiji Hohoemi.”
“Formula powder is better. What chemicals did they use to hold the powder together? It’s a good idea, but formula powder is better than a cube,” argued another individual.
“Whoa, I want this in India. It’s a very good idea for a midnight awake of a kid,” mentioned someone else.
Meanwhile, one person commented, “What’s the chemical that binds it so hard that it retains its shape? Is that safe for your kid? Or will a report after 10 years surface that this experiment has shown this chemical was the reason causing issues A, B, and C in the whole generation of kids!!”
Another user said, “No for baby formula!!! Yes for mama breastmilk!!! Go Breastfeeding mamas!!!”
“This sort of invention is regressive. We’re conditioning our minds and physical attitude to be dependent on outside factors other than our own intellectual capacity. It’s time we force hardship and self-reliance on people, or else we’re going to make the Wall-E movie a documentary,” a different person pointed out.
Since the man shared the clip, it has been viewed over 19 million times.
