In a significant fraud case, 332 mobile phones worth Rs 1.61 crore have gone missing from Flipkart delivery hubs across Kerala’s Ernakulam district, prompting the Ernakulam Rural Cyber Police to launch a detailed investigation.

The FIR identifies four employees as accused: Siddiqui K. Aliyar (Kanjur), Jasim Dilip (Kuruppampady), Haris PA (Meckad), and Mahin Naushad (Muvattupuzha), all allegedly responsible for overseeing the respective hubs.
According to the FIR, the accused placed orders for 332 mobile phones on Flipkart between August 8 and October 10, using
fraudulent addresses and multiple mobile numbers. The stolen inventory includes premium brands such as Apple iPhones, Samsung Galaxy devices, Vivo, and iQOO smartphones.
The breakdown of the missing phones indicates significant losses across the hubs: 38 units valued at Rs 18.14 lakh from Kanjur, 87 units worth Rs 40.97 lakh from Kuruppampady, 101 units totaling Rs 48.66 lakh from Meckad, and 106 units worth Rs 53.41 lakh from Muvattupuzha. Police say all the devices disappeared after reaching the delivery centers.
