Gandhi Talks— Cast And Plot
Gandhi Talks is a silent black comedy that explores a man’s financial ambitions and the ripple effects of his choices on those around him. The film follows Mahadev, a young, unemployed graduate desperate to find work by any means, whose life intersects with that of a businessman and a petty burglar. In this world, silence speaks louder than words. Standing apart in an industry dominated by dialogues and music, Gandhi Talks makes a striking impression.
Meerra Chopra On Gandhi Talks
Explaining the idea behind both the film and her production house, Meerra Chopraa said, “PinkMoon Meta Studios was born from my belief that true power lies in stillness and grace. Silence is not emptiness—it is awareness. ‘Gandhi Talk’ reflects this philosophy. It is a film that speaks softly, yet stays with you long after.” She added that music plays an important part in forming that experience. A. R. Rahman composed the score for the picture, using sound to give emotional voice to silence and raise the film’s meditative tone.
Gandhi Talks follows the story of Mahadev, an unemployed graduate whose desperate search for a break leads him into a world of moral compromises. The project is co-produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Meerra Chopraa, Rajesh Kejriwal, Kishor Belekar, and Anil Bhandari.
