The makers of Thamma have dropped their latest dance number, Poison Baby, and it’s already making waves online. Featuring Malaika Arora in her element, the peppy track sees the diva lighting up a vibrant
club setting with her energetic moves. The song, sung by Jasmine Sandlas, Sachin-Jigar, and Divya Kumar, also features Rashmika Mandanna joining Malaika on the dance floor.
With lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the song is a high-energy visual treat. The music video opens with Malaika setting the club ablaze with her sizzling performance. Soon after, Ayushmann Khurrana’s character enters the frame alongside Rashmika. As the beats pick up, Rashmika joins Malaika for an electrifying dance sequence that has fans replaying the song on loop.
Fans Spot Amar Kaushik’s Cameo
While fans couldn’t stop gushing over Malaika’s dance moves, it was director Amar Kaushik’s unexpected cameo that caught everyone’s attention. “I spot Amar Kaushik! Every item song of his is crazy!” commented one fan. Another wrote, “Malaika nailed it, and spotting Amar Kaushik was the cherry on top!” The surprise appearance by the Stree director has added a fun Easter egg moment for fans of Maddock’s horror-comedy universe.
Thamma: A Bloody Love Story
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Thamma marks the fifth instalment in Maddock Films’ successful horror-comedy universe after Stree, Bhediya, Munjya, and Stree 2. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana as an ordinary man who unexpectedly transforms into a vampire. Rashmika Mandanna plays his love interest, whose life is soon caught in the crossfire between love and darkness.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, the film is described as a “bloody love story” filled with humour, horror, and heart. Thamma is set to release in cinemas this Diwali, on October 21, 2025.
