Akanksha Chamola, who was recently seen on the captive reality show Lock Upp, admits that she is in no hurry to enter another reality show anytime soon. While shows like Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi continue to be popular choices for celebrities looking to explore reality television, Akanksha tells CNN News18 Showsha exclusively that her experience on Lock Upp has left her “saturated”.
Talking about whether she would consider entering the Bigg Boss house, Akanksha says, “Abhi to nahi aa rahi hu. I am so saturated right now by captive reality that I don’t have the strength to do Bigg Boss. I gave up in 30 days in Lock Upp, do you think I can survive 90 days in the Bigg Boss house? Absolutely not.”

While she may not be ready to spend months inside another captive reality setup, Akanksha appears far more open to testing herself on an adventure-based show. When asked if she would participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi, she says, “Oh yeah, Khatron sounds fun. It’s real shit out there but I might think about it.”

Interestingly, Akanksha’s ex-husband, Gaurav Khanna, had won Bigg Boss 19. Recently, the couple announced that they are heading for a divorce after nearly a decade of marriage.
Meanwhile, in the same interview, Akanksha called Shreya Kalra ‘the most evil person’. The tension between the two contestants began after Akanksha filed a chargesheet against Shreya. Upset with the move, Shreya decided to retaliate by revealing that Akanksha was bisexual. Later, she herself acknowledged her bisexuality on the show and spoke about having had relationships with women.
“More than hurt, I was very disappointed. She was the one who had come to me to become my friend, so I was not expecting it to go down this way. When you form a new relation with someone, you don’t hold a lot of expectations from them. But just because she got angry that she got nominated, she ousted my secret. That’s not fair. For me, it was a feeling of disappointment more than hurt,” Akanksha told us.
