Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s much-anticipated film Maa Inti Bangaram appears to be facing a change in its release plans, with fresh reports suggesting a possible delay from its originally announced date. The film is likely to release in June. Also starring Gulshan Devaiah and Diganth, the film till now is slated to hit theatres on May 15.

According to 123 Telugu update, Maa Inti Bangaram to release in cinemas on June 19, exactly two weeks after Ram Charan’s Peddi. Earlier, Filmfare reported that the makers are considering changing the release date because of the ongoing IPL. The portal quoted sources saying that distributors of the film have advised the team to avoid clashing with the cricket tournament’s peak viewership. Buyers are reportedly suggesting

a June 4 release date, which would also coincide with the end of the IPL season. However, Samantha is yet to take a final call.

On April 29, Samantha posted a video on Instagram from her intimate birthday celebration with the fans. The actress can be seen spending quality time with her fans, clicking pictures, engaging in conversations, and making the occasion memorable for everyone present. Her fans can be seen singing “Happy Birthday” as she cuts a scrumptious cake topped with a caricature of her character from her upcoming film Maa Inti Bangaaram. Samantha looked radiant in a yellow suit and was seen warmly interacting with her admirers. She can be heard saying, “Today seeing all of you is extremely special for me.”

The video also captured a heartwarming moment between Samantha Ruth Prabhu and a young fan, who told her she wanted to become a heroine when she grows up, prompting a playful and lighthearted “no” from the actress. In the end, Samantha said, “To be able to keep people around is a bigger gift than any award.” Sharing the video with fans, the actress wrote in her caption, “Best birthday.”

The film will mark her reunion with director Nandini Reddy after their hit, Oh! Baby.
