When Orry Revealed He Was Sara Ali Khan's 'Best Friend' In College: 'Ew, I Know, Right?'

Orry and Sara Ali Khan’s feud has caught everyone’s attention. A few days ago, Orry posted an Instagram Reel taking a jab at ‘Sara’, ‘Amrita’, and ‘Paalak’. Many believed that he was taking a dig at Sara Ali Khan,

Amrita Singh and Palak Tiwari. Now, Orry has taken a direct dig at Sara Ali Khan’s career. As fans wonder what went wrong between the two, Orry’s old Reddit AMA has resurfaced.

Back in 2023, rumours circulated that Orry had been constantly criticising Sara through a fake account on Reddit, challenging her attempts to connect with the Indian middle class and criticising her acting abilities. However, on Christmas, Orry talked about his relationship with Sara. He said they were once best friends. He even praised her dedication towards films.

Responding to a question, he wrote, “Let me tell you something about Sara Ali Khan, we were best friends in college, ew, I know right? And then suddenly we drifted apart overnight after we graduated… but suddenly came back together during lockdown, where we were attached by the hip and people would say ‘inseparable’… “

He added, “Shortly after I moved to the UK to farm (yes, that’s true) and she stayed in India to pursue her career in acting… and I guess when I came back we were both different people with different motivations and ambitions, on different wavelengths but 100% still dear old friends. There has never been a phone call that she has not picked up of mine and vice versa.”

Asked if Sara was serious about acting or if she’s just doing it to ‘please her mom’, Orry wrote, “I can with whole confidence say that girl eats, breaths and drinks acting as a career. It is the only thing she is passionate about, and it’s on her mind 24×7. She is a full-time actor, on screen and off, and you have to reward her for that, and just like her mom, she is a strong independent woman, does not do anything to please anyone.”

As the resurfaced AMA chats also go viral, fans can’t help but wonder what went wrong between Sara and Orry. Orry recently posted an Instagram Reel flaunting his t-shirt with a bra printed on it. Someone in the comments asked, “Genuine Question: what exactly is that bra holding together? 🥹”

Orry not only pinned the comment but also replied, “Sara Ali Khan’s hits.” Someone added, “Orry, I hope she’s laughing too.” He responded, “At her career? She must be.”  Interestingly, the initial Reel in which Orry mentioned the three women’s names has been removed from his account after it went viral. Sara Ali Khan has yet to respond to the digs.
