New Delhi, Sep 29 (PTI) Masters’ Union University has launched the Kalam School of Bioscience, bringing together technology, engineering, healthcare and entrepreneurship amid rapid advances in genomics and gene editing.
The school was launched at the Next Gene Bioscience Summit, which brought together scientists, healthcare leaders, biotech founders, investors and academicians to discuss the country’s bioscience research, and company-building capabilities, according to a release.
The school will focus on genetics, cell biology and applications of engineering and artificial intelligence in life sciences. It will also provide students exposure to research laboratories, healthcare institutions and bioscience companies.
