Avantika Malik On Her Divorce
In 2024, Avantika opened up about her separation from Imran Khan. During a candid conversation on her close friend Janice Sequeira’s podcast, she reflected on that phase and admitted she was overwhelmed by fear and guilt. In her words, “I felt that I had disappointed everybody in my life. It was very hard.” Further, she added that it took her a long time to let go of that burden as it was simply a case of “two people growing apart.”

Avantika also revealed how emotionally devastating the decision was at the time. In the same chat, she recalled, “I felt that I would not survive one day without this guy. The day we decided that this is it, I wept like there had been a death in the immediate family. I was petrified, because I was also not earning at that time.”
