(UP), Sep 18 (PTI) The bodies of a man and a woman were found near the Suriawan railway station in Bhadohi district, with police suspecting they were hit by a train, officials said on Friday.
Police are yet to confirm the identities of the deceased, both aged around 40 years, they said.
Local SHO Ashwini Kumar Tripathi said the incident took place around 10 pm on Thursday, when police received information that a man and a woman had been run over by a train near the platform.
Police have initiated necessary legal proceedings after sending the bodies for post-mortem, the officials said. PTI COR NAV SMV ARI
