Sunjay Kapur's Sister Accuses Priya Sachdev Of 'Erasing' His Bloodline, Backs Karisma Kapoor's Kids

Sunjay Kapur’s sister Mandhira has lashed out at his widow, Priya Sachdev. In a recent interview, Mandhira stepped up her attack on Priya, accusing her of attempting to “erase Sunjay’s own bloodline”.

Mandhira claimed that Safira and Azarius are Priya’s children from her first marriage with Vikram Chatwal.

“Safira has been called the daughter (in the Will). Samaira is the daughter, not Safira. Safira is the stepdaughter. Her biological father (Vikram Chatwal) is alive,” said Mandhira Kapur, speaking at a podcast called ‘InControversial with Pooja Chaudhri’.

“How are you even doing this to that family?” she added. “Nobody is denying that my brother cared for Safira. But don’t take over when Samaira is there. Don’t name Safira ‘the daughter.’ She is the stepdaughter. Stop rewriting lineage.”

“You’re depriving the whole family. You have stolen from our family. You have stolen. This is ours. It doesn’t belong to you that you’re claiming it. Like, what have you done? Gotten married? I mean, seriously? Had a child and it’s all yours now. Everyone should get married like this, yeah? Everyone go get married, have a baby, and chalo, it’s all yours!” Mandhira stated.

Ever since businessman Sunjay Kapur’s death, his family has been fighting over his will and assets. Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, have moved the Delhi High Court to demand a share in the assets of their late father, Sunjay Kapur. In their petition, the two children claimed that their stepmother, Priya Sachdev, forged Sunjay’s will. Recently, the children also filed a new petition against Priya Sachdev seeking to stop her from transferring or altering any of Sunjay’s assets until the matter is resolved. While Karisma is not directly involved in the legal battle of her former husband’s inheritance drama, she is representing her children, Samaira and Kiaan.
