Television actor Nakuul Mehta and his wife Jankee Parekh recently welcomed filmmaker Farah Khan to their home in Mumbai for her YouTube channel. Farah came with her cook, Dilip, and a tiffin of paneer makhani. The visit led to fun jokes and praise for the couple’s beautifully designed home.

The living room is open, comfortable, and

Farah said, “It doesn’t feel like a typical show house,” liking that the home is made for living in, not just for showing off.

One of the home’s most distinctive features is its walls, curated as storytelling surfaces. Framed photos, vintage memorabilia, and heirlooms are arranged gallery-style. Nakuul explained, “That’s basically our lives on the wall… Parents, family, friends, from both sides.” Farah paused at a display of medals.

“Whose medals are these?” she asked. “My father’s… He was in the Navy. These are from the 1971 war,” Nakuul replied. She added, “Wow. I’m loving this. I love the typewriter and all. It’s all actually part of the add-on in the house.”

The kitchen blends seamlessly with the living and dining areas. Farah immediately approved: “With this open kitchen, yaar, beautiful! Look how open this kitchen is!” Clean lines, uncluttered counters, and practical cabinetry make the space functional yet stylish, reinforcing the home’s communal vibe.
Modern furniture blends well with the vintage pieces, including bookshelves and decorations highlighting the family history. Warm lighting made the house feel cozy and relaxed.

Nakuul is also celebrating the premiere of his show Space Gen- Chandrayaan, which has received rave reviews. Sharing behind-the-scenes moments on Instagram, he called the series “special and close to my heart,” reflecting his deep connection to the project.
