Hours before a major protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Saturday, Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke announced that he had landed in India, urging his supporters to lead the movement with “love and peace”.
“Landed. Looking forward to meeting you all at Jantar Mantar. Do not forget to carry a book and our Tiranga! Offer flowers to policemen as a gesture of compassion & gratitude. We have to lead this movement with love and peace!” Dipke wrote in a post on ‘X’.

In its first large-scale gathering on ground, political satire outfit Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) is set to hold a massive protest at Jantar Mantar today, June 6, over concerns surrounding the irregularities linked to the NEET paper leak case and the recent CBSE examinations and its OSM-related issues.
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke — a 30-year-old political communication strategist and digital content creator — arrived from the United States at around 7:30 A.M. Saturday.
He, along with prominent activists, including Sonam Wangchuk, plan to go to the Parliament Street police station to seek legal clearances required for the protest.
CJP spokesperson, Ashutosh Ranka, expressed hope that the demonstration would emerge successful.

“Yes, Abhijeet (Dipke) has landed. He has also tweeted about it. We are hopeful this will be monumental day in Indian politics. Soon, he will come out, we will go to the police station where he will be seeking permission from Delhi Police and then we will sit at Jantar Mantar”, he told PTI.
The demonstration scheduled to begin at 9 A.M. Although the CJP possesses over two crore followers on Instagram, it remains to be seen whether the movement materialises on ground.
Why CJP Is Protesting
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke proposed a “peaceful sit-in protest” to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as he criticised the Centre, alleging that the education system had “failed over one crore students”.
The party flagged concerns surrounding the recent NEET paper leak case and irregularities in CBSE examinations, along with its OSM portal-related issues.
Addressing its maiden press conference on Wednesday at Constitution Club — a stone’s throw from the Parliament — Dipke announced the demonstration would be open to all participants, regardless of political affiliation.
Carry Tiranga, Apply Sunscreen
On Friday — the eve of the protest — the group’s spokespersons, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, conveyed a list of guidelines “to ensure the movement remains peaceful, disciplined, and respectful of public order”.
The Do’s and Don’ts included carrying the tricolour and a book, recording the proceedings of the demonstration and reporting miscreants to the police.
The group also asked supporters to apply sunscreen, stay hydrated, and bring a cap, to shield themselves against the heat.
