IndiGo Issues Travel Advisory
IndiGo on Monday issued a travel advisory warning passengers of possible flight delays at several airports in northern India due to foggy weather conditions.
In a statement, the airline said shifting weather patterns are expected to cause fog during late-night and early-morning hours, leading to reduced visibility across parts of the region. As a result, some flight operations may be impacted while airport authorities and airlines adjust to the conditions.
IndiGo said it is closely monitoring the situation to ensure passenger safety and minimise disruption to services. The airline advised travellers to stay updated on their flight status and allow extra time while travelling to the airport, as low visibility could also affect road traffic in the early hours.
Passengers have been asked to regularly check the latest flight information on the airline’s official website and plan their journeys accordingly.
