The film, which was earlier slated to hit theatres on May 15, 2026, has now been preponed and will arrive in cinemas on April 10, 2026. On Saturday, Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram to share a promo announcing the new release date of Bhooth Bangla. Bhooth Bangla, which has been generating steady buzz since its announcement, is expected to showcase Akshay Kumar in a genre-driven entertainer. With the shift in its release date, the makers aim to tap into a favourable theatrical window while avoiding box office congestion. The film marks the much-anticipated reunion of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan after 14 years, a collaboration that has previously delivered several cult comedy hits. Ever since the first poster of Bhooth Bangla was unveiled, followed by an intriguing motion poster, excitement around the project has steadily grown.

Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Ltd, in association with Cape of Good Films present Bhooth Bangla starring Akshay Kumar, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu and Rajpal Yadav. It is directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and is releasing in theatres on 10th April 2026.
