New Delhi, Apr 30 (PTI) Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday met with the family members of a 21-year-old youth who was shot dead allegedly by a policeman in Dwarka, officials said.
Gupta met Pandav Kumar’s family at the Delhi Secretariat and said that the untimely loss of a son is a profound grief for parents that can not be put into words.

In a post on X, the chief minsiter said, “This incident is unacceptable. The accused have already been arrested. Delhi Police officers have been given clear instructions that investigation in the incident involving a son of Bihar, should be without any laxity and
the guilty must receive harshest punishment.” She said any person from any state who comes to Delhi and lives in the city is a Delhiite and part of the larger family. Those who commit violence and crime in the name of regionalism will not be spared at any cost.
Kumar was killed, and his friend was injured when a Delhi Police head constable allegedly opened fire after hurling casteist abuses at them during an altercation on Sunday, according to the victim’s family and police.
The incident occurred when Kumar, a food delivery agent, and his friend Krishan were standing on a road in Jaffarpur Kalan village and the accused, Neeraj, allegedly opened fire from point-blank range following an argument with them, police said in a statement. PTI VIT VIT HIG HIG
