About Border 2: A Tribute to India’s Armed Forces
Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 serves as the sequel to J.P. Dutta’s iconic 1997 war film Border, which was based on the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. The sequel continues the legacy by showcasing the bravery and sacrifices of Indian soldiers from the Army, Navy and Air Force.
In the film, Sonam Bajwa plays Manjit Kaur, the wife of Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, a role portrayed by Diljit Dosanjh. The character is inspired by the life of the late Flying Officer, whose courage and service remain etched in India’s military history. The war drama is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta and is presented by T-Series.
Border 2 Box Office Collection Day-Wise Update
According to Sacnilk, Border 2 delivered an exceptional performance in its first five days, earning an estimated over Rs 200 crore India net. On its sixth day, the film added approximately Rs 0.83 crore across all languages, bringing its total collection to Rs 200.83 crore in India net so far.
