Speaking at the launch event of The Traitors Season 2, Rhea Chakraborty drew a comparison between the show’s format and society, making a statement that resonated
with many. The actress said that just like in society, the palace in The Traitors also seems to operate on one rule — “guilty until proven innocent.” However, she added that she would want to change that mindset.
“Well, just like society, Traitors ke palace mein bhi ek hi rule hota hai, ‘Guilty until proven innocent.’ But main is game mein jab jaungi, I will change this rule, because I believe innocent until proven guilty. (Just like society, The Traitors palace seems to follow one rule — ‘guilty until proven innocent.’ But if I enter the game, I’d want to change that, because I believe in ‘innocent until proven guilty’),” said Rhea.

Contestants work together to identify the “traitors” hiding among them, while the traitors secretly eliminate players from the game. On July 30, Amazon Prime Video announced the complete lineup of contestants for The Traitors Season 2. The upcoming season will feature 21 participants, including Rhea Chakraborty, Mallika Sherawat, Munawar Faruqui, Krystle D’Souza, Parul Gulati, Ranveer Brar, Shahneel Gill, Dalip Tahil, Harman Singha, Tanya Puri, Abhishek Malhan, Shalini Passi, Aaditya Kulshreshth, Shweta Tiwari, Rida Tharana, Ansh Chopra, Ikka, Prish, Soundous Mufakir, Karan Singh Magic and Sahil Salathia.
The Traitors season 2 will premiere from August 13, with new episodes dropping every Thursday.
