May 4 (PTI) More than 1.23 lakh voters opted for the NOTA option in the 2026 Kerala Assembly elections.
As per figures available on the Election Commission website, 1,23,067 voters pressed the None of the Above (NOTA) button in the state.
The number marks an increase from the 97,693 voters who chose NOTA in the 2021 Assembly elections.
NOTA accounted for 0.57 per cent of the total votes polled in the 2026 Assembly elections, up from 0.47 per cent in 2021.
However, the figure remained lower than the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, when 1,56,585 voters in Kerala had opted for NOTA, accounting for 0.79 per cent of the votes polled. PTI TBA TBA SA
