Ramayana makers have kicked off the promotional spree for the film, and till now, there have been four grand events hosted for Nitesh Tiwari’s magnum opus. While several key actors were present at one or the other events for the film, the evident absence of Sai Pallavi, who plays Sita, had many speculating about a fallout, but the reality is totally different.
The real reason behindSai Pallavi’s absence from Ramayana promotional events is her busy schedule and not any fallout or rift with the team. As per a Mid-Day source, Pallavi is currently shooting Mani Ratnam’s next with Vijay Sethupathi in Kolkata. “Sai has a packed and demanding schedule in Kolkata. The team will move to another location immediately after this. She is focused on finishing
her commitment first,” the source shared.
Further, while speaking about Sai Pallavi keeping a low profile online and not sharing much about the film, an insider added, “She has always maintained a low-key online presence. The trailer is on her grid now. While she reposted it a bit late, that’s just how she has functioned throughout her career. She went for the Delhi event and then straight for her shoot,” and revealed that Sai was not supposed to attend the San Diego Comic-Con unveiling.
But will her busy schedule be the reason that she misses all Ramayana promotional events? Well, that’s not true. As per the report, “The plan has always been for Sai to join the promotions in the next phase, which starts in September in several international locations.”
