Kriti Sanon has finally crossed something off her long-standing wish list. The actress spent time learning pottery and shared a series of pictures from the session on September 20, giving fans a glimpse of her trying her hand at the craft.
The photos show Kriti seated at a pottery wheel, working with clay and experimenting with different shapes. Along with the pictures, she also shared a note about making time for things one keeps postponing and turning “one day” into “Day One”.

Kriti kept things relaxed for the session, wearing a sleeveless maroon top with blue jeans and a striped apron. She completed the look with a printed headscarf while focusing on the pottery wheel in front of her.
In the pictures, the actress
can be seen carefully shaping clay with both hands. The session appears to have involved several attempts, with Kriti trying different forms instead of sticking to just one design.
Her finished pieces included bowls and cups in earthy clay tones. Some had clean shapes, while others featured deliberately uneven or wavy edges that retained a distinctly handmade feel.
One of the pieces that stood out was a heart-shaped vessel. Another creation featured a softer, irregular rim, showing the different shapes Kriti experimented with while learning the technique.
The photos also captured her concentration during the process, with the actress visibly focused on controlling the clay and getting the shapes right.
Kriti Says Pottery Had Been On Her List For Years
Sharing the pictures on social media, Kriti wrote about finally doing something she had wanted to learn for a long time.
“That thing you’ve been wanted to do or learn for years, the one that always made it to your ‘Things I wanna do this year’ list but you never made time for it.. Instead of saying ‘One day’, yet again, make today your ‘Day One’!” she wrote.
Kriti then revealed that pottery was one of the activities she had repeatedly wanted to try but had not managed to make time for earlier.
“One of the things on my list was Pottery!” she added.
For the actress, the experience was not simply about making the finished pieces. She appeared equally taken by the process of starting from scratch and picking up a skill she had never tried before.
“The joy of learning a new skill, its something else!” Kriti wrote.
She ended her note with a line that summed up how she felt about the experience: “I love being a Work In Progress.”
