Varun Dhawan Reveals He Injured His Tailbone While Shooting Border 2 In Babina

Varun Dhawan is all set for the release of his upcoming war drama Border 2, co-starring Ahaan Shetty, Diljit Dosanjh, and Sunny Deol. As the anticipation surrounding the film grows, today, on January 6, the actor hosted a #VarunSays session on his X handle, where he interacted with fans and answered their questions about the upcoming war drama.

A fan, while taking part in the #VarunSays session, questioned Dhawan, “Border 2 ke liye physical preparation kaise ki? Kitna workout kiya real war hero ke role ke liye?”

While responding

to this question, Varun revealed that while shooting, he even injured his tailbone during filming in Babina and said, “Bahut prepare karna tha. I, in fact, injured my tailbone while shooting the Battle of Basantar. I shot 40 days in Babina for that with real soldiers. #VarunSays.”

Another fan asked him about the Border 2 script, and he said, “A war can never be won by an individual; it takes all forces to come together. In #Border2, we have the army, navy, and air force together, oh yes, and also the one-man army Sunny Deol.”

“It’s based on the 1971 war, and that, as we all know, was a war filled with a lot of casualties on both sides. There were a lot of sacrifices made by our soldiers to win, so some amazing stories,” Varun said while reacting to a fan’s question about what they can expect from the film.

During the song launch of the film, Varun emphasised that films like Border serve a larger purpose beyond entertainment, helping young audiences understand the importance of national security, sacrifice, and preparedness.
