Man dies after vehicle falls into hillside slope in Shimla

Shimla, Jun 13 (PTI) A 28-year-old man died after his vehicle plunged into a hillside slope in the Kumarsain region of Himachal Pradesh’s Shimla district, police said on Saturday.

The deceased, Kavish Chauhan, was a resident of Shawat village in Kumarsain.

According to the police, the accident occurred on Friday night near Virgarh village when Chauhan lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the road and skidded into a garden of a resident. He died on the spot.

The police were informed after the accident was noticed by locals. A police team from Kumarsain police station reached the spot and recovered the body, which was sent for a postmortem.

Police officials confirmed the report and said a case has been registered and further investigation
