In a tragic incident from Madhya Pradesh, three people were killed, including a father and a son, after a speeding Audi vehicle rammed into their motorcycle from behind. The accident reportedly occurred on a highway near Koshta village in the Rewa district.
The trio were travelling on their motorcycle towards Mangawa, when the luxury car rammed into their vehicle. The Audi was reportedly moving at such a high speed that the victims were thrown into the air and landed far away on the road following the collision.
The father was identified as Bhagwat Vishwakarma, a resident of Chhachhai, his younger son Shivam Vishwakarma and Sheetal Vishwakarma. Bhagwat’s older son Shubham was scheduled to get married on February 25.
The father was on his way to
the Chirahula Temple in Rewa to offer the first wedding invitation for his son’s marriage when the accident happened. The victims were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared all three dead.
As soon as the news of the incident broke, police from Raipur Karchuliyan and other local stations rushed to the spot, and the bodies of the deceased are being taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, the accident on the highway caused a traffic jam, and soon long queues of vehicles formed on both sides of the road.
The police have taken the Audi driver into custody and impounded the vehicle, India Today reported. A case has been filed, and an investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident, including the vehicle’s speed and any potential negligence. The incident has shattered the family, turning what was supposed to be a joyful wedding celebration into a time of profound grief.
