New Delhi, Apr 15 (PTI) Healthcare start-up Last Mile Care Pvt Ltd on Wednesday said it has raised close to USD 1 million (over Rs 9 crore) in a seed funding round led by Philips Foundation through its impact investment arm.
The round also witnessed participation from World Diabetes Foundation, We Share Forward Foundation, and a group of high-net-worth individual investors, the company said in a statement.
The fresh fund will be deployed to expand footprint across India and further strengthen ‘phygital’ healthcare ecosystem — an integrated model combining on-site clinics, mobile health units, telemedicine, and AI-enabled digital health infrastructure, it added.
The company said it is focused on enhancing access to structured and preventive healthcare
for India’s blue- and grey-collar workforce. PTI RKL MR
