Aug 10 (PTI) A 26-year-old man was killed in a lightning strike while working in a paddy field in Jharkhand’s Chatra district on Monday evening, a police officer said.
The incident occurred at Pustiya village in Bashistnagar (Jori) police station area of the district.
The deceased has been identified as Vigesh Kumar.
Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Chatra) Md Jahur Alam said the family of the deceased will be provided Rs 4 lakh as compensation. PTI CORR BS RBT
