The era of method dressing is showing no signs of slowing down, and Alia Bhatt and Sharvari are the latest stars to embrace the trend. Stepping out for the Alpha movie press tour in Jaipur, the leading ladies traded conventional promotional dressing for fashion-forward ensembles that subtly incorporated the film’s identity. Instead of matching outfits or obvious merchandise, the duo chose custom pieces and statement designer separates that reflected their individual aesthetics while keeping Alpha front and centre.
Alia Bhatt’s Utility-Luxe Moment
Alia Bhatt delivered an effortlessly cool take on utility dressing with a customised Zara seamed sleeveless top (₹700), elevated with a bespoke “Alpha” print. She paired it with CILVR Studio’s black cargo joggers (₹7,150), creating
a relaxed silhouette that balanced comfort with contemporary edge.
The true conversation starter was her custom Meroh ring, inspired by the Alpha logo and crafted in gold, diamonds and emeralds in collaboration with Elevate Promotions. The bespoke jewel transformed the film’s branding into a luxurious keepsake, adding an exclusive touch to the look. Alia further accessorised with AEQEAA Stacey stack rings (₹3,999), The Oroh Life Florence boots (₹10,990) and timeless Gucci sunglasses, proving that carefully chosen accessories can elevate even the simplest separates.
Styled by Priyanka Kapadia, Iram Halai and Ritvi Mehta, the look perfectly blended streetwear influences with refined luxury, making it promotional dressing done right.
Sharvari’s Runway-Approved Edge
Sharvari took a decidedly more experimental approach. She layered a custom white “Alpha” printed top over a sleek black Entire Studios bodysuit before making a statement with Acne Studios’ Trompe-L’œil 1981 jeans (€750).
The illusion denim, one of the Swedish fashion house’s most talked-about runway creations creates the visual effect of distressed denim shorts layered over pinstripe trousers, instantly lending the outfit an editorial, high-fashion appeal. Rather than competing with the dramatic denim, Sharvari kept the rest of the styling minimal, finishing the look with Miu Miu sunglasses.
Styled by Chandini Whabi, the ensemble felt youthful, directional and perfectly aligned with Sharvari’s growing reputation as one of Bollywood’s emerging style stars.
Although both actors wore custom Alpha-inspired pieces, their styling philosophies couldn’t have been more different. Alia embraced understated utility-luxe with elevated accessories and a one-of-a-kind jewellery moment, while Sharvari leaned into runway experimentation with one of the season’s most viral denim designs.
Together, they demonstrated that the best promotional wardrobes don’t rely on matching looks or overt branding. Instead, they seamlessly weave a film’s identity into personal style, making every appearance feel authentic, memorable and fashion-forward.
With the Alpha press tour making its way across the country, Jaipur proved that the film isn’t just generating excitement for its action-packed storyline, it is also quietly becoming one of the most stylish promotional campaigns of the year.
Alpha Film
As anticipation builds for Alpha, the Jaipur stop of the film’s promotional tour offered a glimpse into the movie’s sleek, contemporary identity. Billed as the first female-led instalment in Yash Raj Films’ celebrated Spy Universe, the film sees Alia Bhatt and Sharvari stepping into action-packed roles, with Bobby Deol also featuring in a pivotal role. If the fashion on display is anything to go by, Alpha is already making a statement well before its theatrical release.
