Mohsin Khan Becomes First Bowler To Bowl 3 Maiden Overs In An IPL Season For LSG

Fast bowler Mohsin Khan entered his name in the record books on Sunday, April 26, by becoming the first bowler to bowl three maiden overs in an IPL season for Lucknow Super Giants. The 27-year-old left-arm medium pacer bowled the second over for LSG in their IPL 2026 match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow and didn’t concede even one more run. The maiden by Mohsin against KKR is his third maiden over in this year’s IPL. He previously bowled one maiden over each for LSG in their IPL 2026 matches against Delhi Capitals on April 1 and vs Rajasthan Royals (on April 22).

Mohsin is the only bowler to bowl more than one maiden over in the 2026 edition of the Indian Premier League.

In the list of bowlers with the most maiden overs for LSG in the IPL, he is followed by Avesh Khan, Krishnappa Gowtham, Krunal Pandya, Yash Thakur and Mark Wood. All five of them have bowled one maiden over each in the IPL for the Lucknow-based franchise.

The record of bowling most maiden overs in IPL history is joint-held by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Praveen Kumar. Both the fast bowlers from Uttar Pradesh have bowled 14 overs each in the IPL. They are followed by Trent Boult (11) and Irfan Pathan (10).
