have been giving us major couple goals since going public with their romance, just made it official in the dreamiest way. Needless to say, fans can’t stop swooning! The couple got married in Santa Barbara, California, on Saturday, September 28. The wedding was attended by close friends, including Taylor Swift.

The fairytale love story

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s story started years before they became a couple. They first collaborated professionally in 2015 on her Revival album and crossed paths again in 2019 for the hit track I Can’t Get Enough, along with J Balvin and Tainy. Both Selena and Benny were seen in the fun music video, where Benny appeared wearing a teddy bear costume and Selena was seen in pink pyjamas. The duo remained friends for all these years until they sparked dating rumours.

Following the next month of Selena’s 31st birthday, the singer collaborated with Benny for the second time in her widely popular song Single Soon. After the second collaboration, Benny was seen attending Selena’s Rare Beauty Impact Fund Benefit. Benny’s appearance at the event sparked dating rumours between the two, but none of them confirmed being in a relationship.

Romance bloomed much later in June 2023, Gomez shared that they had been quietly dating for a while. By December that year, she decided to make it public, calling Benny “better than anyone I’ve ever been with” in a heartfelt Instagram post.

In January 2024, the couple made their first public appearance together at a Los Angeles Lakers game and packed on plenty of PDA. In the following months they were seen attending various award shows together, including the Golden Globes and The Emmys, where they shared adorable backstage moments. Blanco’s songwriting and production credits include several global hits such as Love Yourself by Justin Bieber, Eastside featuring Halsey and Khalid, Roses by Katy Perry, and Señorita by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello. Alongside his work for others, he has also released music as a solo artist.
