Sunrisers Hyderabad star Heinrich Klaasen pulled off a blinder at covers to get rid of Chennai Super Kings youngster Ayush Mhatre during the IPL 2026 game between the sides at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Saturday.
Klaasen hung on to the catch offered up by Mhatre to get rid of the batter for 30 off just 13 deliveries as Nitish Kumar Reddy got his man.

SRH posted a total of 194 in their IPL 2026 clash against Chennai Super Kings, driven by half-centuries from Abhishek Sharma (59) and Heinrich Klaasen
(59).
Jamie Overton and Anshhul Kamboj picked up three wickets each, while Mukesh Choudhary contributed with two scalps.
SRH got off to a blistering start as Abhishek’s 15-ball fifty powered the hosts to over 70 runs in the powerplay, before Mukesh Choudhary struck twice in two balls to dismiss Travis Head and Ishan Kishan.
Jamie Overton then removed Abhishek, who edged behind to Sanju Samson, and soon after sent back Aniket Verma for just 2. The English all-rounder completed his three-wicket haul by dismissing Nitish Kumar Reddy for 12 off 8 balls.
At the other end, Heinrich Klaasen kept the scoreboard moving and brought up a crucial fifty before being bowled by Anshhul Kamboj. Gurjapneet Singh joined the wicket-takers by removing Salil Arora for 13.
Anshhul Kamboj completed his three-fer with the dismissals of Shivang Kumar and Liam Livingstone for 12 and 1 respectively, as SRH were restricted to 194/9.
Chennai openers Sanju Samson and Ruturaj Gaikwad were dismissed for 7 and 19 respectively, either side of Mhatre’s fall. Matt Short and Sarfaraz Khan steadied the chase before the latter was scalped by Eshan Malinga for his second of the night. Dewald Brevis was sent back to the hut for a duck by Shivang Kumar to leave CSK down to half their side.
