Karan Johar Hails Shanaya Kapoor’s ‘Must-Watch’ Film
Karan is known for voicing his opinions, but he is not someone who writes goody-goody things for every movie. On February 13, he took to Instagram and dropped a lengthy note reviewing Shanaya and Adarsh’s film. He went on to say that Tu Yaa Main made him ‘take an extra dose of his BP meds’. Apart from appreciating the lead actors, he hailed director Bejoy Nambiar’s ‘solid craft and technical excellence’. His note read, “NO CARDIO NEEDED! You will physically jump out of your seats right through the second half of this traumatising ( in the best way possible ) survival croc edge of the seater! Swimming pools will never be the same for me again…. NEVER! And if you happen to have a partner this Valentine .. take them to watch #tuyamain and tell them to wear armour because you will clutch onto them in FEAR!!!! I am still stressed and the film got over 30 minutes ago! I feel like a crocodile may appear even in the middle of Mumbai traffic and attack me ( I am dramatic I know but this film has made me take an extra dose of my BP meds).”
Earlier today, Shanaya’s BFFs Suhana Khan and Ananya Panday gave a big thumbs up to the film, and they simply loved her performance in it.
Arjun Kapoor’s work front
On the work front, Arjun was last seen in the rom-com Mere Husband Ki Biwi opposite Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh. He has wrapped the Delhi schedule of his upcoming Mudassar Aziz directorial.
Arjun’s next appearance will be in No Entry 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster comedy No Entry. Anees Bazmee directed the film, which also stars Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh. There has also been talk that Tamannaah Bhatia will join the cast as the female lead, however no official confirmation has been made. Boney Kapoor, Arjun’s father, is producing the film. Boney Kapoor recently expressed his displeasure at failing to keep the original cast of No Entry in its sequel, and now a fresh source has revealed a stunning reason for Salman Khan’s absence from the picture, as well as what caused Boney to hire a totally new star.
