'You're A Monster And Nobody Knows You': Trump’s Bizarre Compliment To Sundar Pichai | Watch

US President Donald Trump had an unusual description for Google CEO Sundar Pichai during an interaction with reporters on Tuesday, calling him a “monster” while praising his low public profile.

Trump made the remark while speaking to reporters following a White House lunch with leading technology executives. Turning to Pichai, Trump said, “This guy is a monster, and nobody knows him. What a great life! To be a monster and not have to go through this.”

‘Sundar is his name’

The exchange began when Trump invited Pichai to speak. As the Google CEO started responding, Trump interrupted to highlight the stature of the executives gathered at the White

House.

“You have no idea who these people are. These are the biggest people in the world. You have no idea who they are,” Trump said before turning his attention to Pichai.

“All you have to know is — SUNDARR! Sundar is his name,” Trump added.

Pichai responded to the remark in a light-hearted manner, saying, “Hopefully a better tagline than I’m a monster!”

The term “monster” is also sometimes used in corporate and technology commentary to describe the enormous scale and influence of Alphabet, Google’s parent company.

Top tech executives at White House

The exchange came after a high-profile gathering of technology leaders at the White House to discuss artificial intelligence and related issues.

The attendees included Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, OpenAI President Greg Brockman, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk, whose X platform has developed its own AI model, Grok.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella were also present. According to a seating chart shared by Trump on Truth Social, Huang sat to Trump’s right, while Musk sat to his left.

US Vice President JD Vance, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and House Speaker Mike Johnson also attended the White House lunch.
