Akshay Kumar stepped out for a film screening in Mumbai and instantly turned the evening into a quiet family moment. The actor was joined by his niece Simar Bhatia, who is gearing up for her Bollywood debut and his sister Alka.
Simar Bhatia is all set to enter the industry with Ikkis, an upcoming film starring Agastya Nanda. With her debut around the corner, she has been out and about in the city. Snapped outside the venue, she along with the actor and her mom, posed together. Akshay looked completely at ease, casually leaning against the sliding door while smiling for the cameras.

Standing beside him, Simar appeared poised and graceful, holding her own. Alka completed the frame, standing close to
her brother and daughter, adding a grounded touch to the moment.
Decoding The Trios’s Outfit
Fashion-wise, the three opted for comfort and class. Akshay opted for a blue striped shirt paired with classic denim jeans, keeping things effortlessly casual. Simar chose a black zip-up sweatshirt teamed with relaxed, comfortable trousers. Alka went for a more sophisticated look, wearing a white tank top with matching trousers, layered neatly with a shirt.
Earlier this month, the makers of Ikkis released the first romantic track from the film along with Simar Bhatia’s first-look poster. Welcoming his niece into the film industry, Akshay shared a long note on Instagram where he expressed his pride and joy and even called it a special moment for the family.
Akshay Kumar’s Post For Simar Bhatia
Akshay started his post with, “Holding you as a tiny baby to now watching you step into the world of films… life really has come full circle. Simar, I’ve seen you turn from a shy little girl who would hide behind her mom into this confident young woman ready to face the camera like she was born for it.”
He added, “Safar mushkil hai, but knowing you, you’ll walk into it with that same spark, that same honesty, and that same stubborn determination that runs in our family.”
Signing off, he noted, “I’m so proud of you, beta. The world is about to meet Simar Bhatia but to me you’ve always been a star. Go shine! Jai Mahadev.”
Simar plays the female lead opposite Agastya Nanda in the war drama Ikkis. The film is based on the life of Param Vir Chakra recipient Arun Khetarpal. It is directed by Sriram Raghavan.
