Bigg Boss Marathi 4 fame and Marathi television actor Prasad Jawade is grieving the loss of his mother, Pradnya Jawade. She passed away at the age of 65 on December 28, following a prolonged battle with

cancer. The heartbreaking news was shared by Prasad’s wife, actress Amruta Deshmukh, who took to Instagram to announce her mother-in-law’s demise.

The actress shared a bunch of pictures with her mother-in-law, alongside a deeply emotional note that shows her love and affection for the departed soul. In the pictures, Prasad Jawade is seen taking care of his late mother during her illness.

Amruta Deshmukh’s Note

Amruta expressed gratitude and love for her mother-in-law in her post, recalling how she was never treated like a daughter-in-law but always as a daughter. “From day one, she never treated me like a सून, I was her मुलगी… Names never mattered. ‘Kaku’ or ‘Mummy’—the love remained the same. And hers was pure, innocent, unquestioning,” she wrote.

Amruta also highlighted the bond they shared over Marathi language, poetry, and meaningful conversations, remembering her mother-in-law’s warmth and affection. The actress penned, “Her love for Marathi भाषा, कविता, शब्द..that was our quiet bond. Long conversations, simple emotions, deep meanings. Those twinkling grey eyes… the same warmth that lives on in Prasad’s light brown ones.”

She further expressed pride in Prasad Jawade and his father for standing by Pradnya Jawade throughout her difficult journey. “Grateful for the way you held me. Grateful for the way you loved me. Always your girl. Pradnya Jawade (१५ सप्टेंबर १९६०-२८ डिसेंबर २०२५) And last but not least… Proud of her son @prasadjawade and pappa – the way they both held her hand and accompanied her in her journey is beyond words,” she added.
