a devastating fire killed 25 people earlier this month, came under scrutiny for alleged safety violations and suspected illegal modifications at the venue.
The two men fled India to Phuket, Thailand, where they were apprehended.
Thai authorities told CNN-News18 that the brothers were detained in Phuket and have now been moved to the Bangkok immigration office. There, they will be handed over to Indian officials before being flown back to India to face legal proceedings.
The handover marks the first concrete step in bringing the Luthra brothers back to the country, where they are wanted for questioning over lapses that investigators believe may have contributed to the deadly incident.
