A burglary was reported at the Bhopal residence of retired judge Giribala, who is an accused in the high-profile Twisha suspicious death case, police said.
According to police, three masked men allegedly broke into the house at around 2 am and stole gold jewellery along with several important documents.
Suspects Flee After Police Encounter
While attempting to escape, the accused reportedly came face-to-face with a police patrol team. A scuffle ensued, during which the suspects abandoned the stolen items before fleeing the spot.
Police said the jewellery and documents were recovered from the scene.
Probe Underway
An investigation has been launched, with police examining CCTV footage from the area to identify the three suspects.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Rajneesh Kashyap said search operations
are underway and expressed confidence that the accused would be arrested soon.
Police are also probing whether the burglary was a routine theft or had any connection to the ongoing Twisha suspicious death case, in which retired judge Giribala is an accused.
