SanDisk Brings Portable SSDs For iPhones And Cards For Mobile Devices: All Details

SanDisk continues to evolve with the changing needs of storage devices even with the demand for cloud storage going up. The new creator series from the company focuses on giving portable storage solutions

for iPhones and the regular devices.

The powerful phones now let you shoot 4K videos and sharing them across devices is a challenge that SanDisk claims to have solved, especially for creators who rely on their iPhones to make content on-the-go.

The new SanDisk Creator series includes a microSD card with up to 1TB storage with prices starting from Rs 1,809 and going well over Rs 10,000 for the highest option. You get read and write speeds of 190MBps and 130MBps, respectively, and its temperature-proof durability makes it usable in most conditions. 

You also have the bigger SD UHS-II Card suited for high-res cameras and supports 6K video recording with the starting 128GB model costing Rs 4,999. This card offers transfer speed up to 280MBps which you will need to transfer high-res video content which creators have in abundance. 

The company also has a new Creator USB-C flash drive with 256GB storage priced at Rs 2,029. This device works like any other dual-mode USB drives we’ve seen before. But the new version offers transfer speed up to 400MBps and you can use it with mobiles, laptops, tablets and more. 

The Creator Phone Drive priced at Rs 4,899 which has both lightning and USB C connections supported. And the special Creator Phone SSD with MagSafe support for iPhones available for Rs 10,999 and comes in a higher 2TB variant. It will only work with iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 and the new iPhone 17 series models. The device gets a silicone shell and comes with some level of protection for dust and water.
