(UP), Apr 3 (PTI) Two 13-year-old boys and a woman were killed in two separate incidents of lightning strike in Uttar Pradesh’s Chitrakoot district on Friday, while two other boys sustained critical injuries, police said.
The first incident was reported from Rajauli Purwa under the Bharatkoop police station area, where Vikas (13), Karan (13), Neeraj (10) and Sumit (12) were struck by lightning while grazing goats.
They were rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared Vikas and Karan dead, while Neeraj and Sumit were being treated for critical burn injuries, police said.
In the second incident, a lightning strike killed Rajpatiya (50) in Kui Kala village within the Raipura police station limits, they said. PTI COR NAV ARI ARI
