Chennai, Jul, 29 (PTI) Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company, a joint venture between the Murugappa Group and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group of Japan, on Wednesday announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting a Gross Written Premium (GWP) of Rs 2,130 crore, as against Rs 1,997 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, a growth of 6.7 per cent.
A company release said that Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter stood at Rs 116 crore compared to Rs 145 crore in Q1 FY26-27.
Profit After Tax (PAT) was Rs 86 crore as against Rs 107 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The release further said the company’s net worth increased to Rs 3,415 crore as on June 30, 2026 from Rs 3,106 crore a year
ago.
