Between promotions for his upcoming film, O’Romeo, Shahid Kapoor took time to give his fans a peek at one of his stylish moments. On his Instagram account, the actor shared a photo of himself posing outside what appeared to be a set. He was promoting the action thriller alongside his co-star Triptii Dimri in Mumbai on Monday, February 2.
In the photo Shahid posted on his story, he was seen wearing a white V-neck T-shirt, navy blue boot-cut pants, and a matching jacket. He paired the outfit with white sneakers. His messy hair and slight stubble added to his rugged and laid-back look for the day. The actor shared the picture without a caption and added the song, Ishq ka Fever, from his upcoming movie.

As They Pose For Paparazzi
Besides posting a picture of himself, Shahid also shared a video with Triptii, in which they were seen posing for the paparazzi outside a set. The clip began with the duo walking towards the photographers after getting ready in their vanity vans. With smiles on their faces, the pair patiently posed for a brief photo session. For the day, the Qala actress was seen wearing an elegant lavender-coloured Anarkali set. He posted the video with an adorable twist.
Instead of using a trending song, Shahid used a cute conversation between a little girl and someone who asks them to come into the frame to take pictures together. In the caption, he wrote, “Yeh angle theek hai?”
Controversy Surrounding O’Romeo
Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, O’Romeo revolves around the life of Hussain Ustara, a raw, untamed and deeply conflicted gangster shaped by love and violence, set against the underbelly of Mumbai. It is based on the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai by Hussain Zaidi.
Days ahead of its release, Hussain Ustara’s daughter approached a Mumbai civil court seeking a permanent injunction. She alleged that the film is an unauthorised biopic of her father and presents a false and damaging portrayal of his life. The suit stated that O’ Romeo was “produced for commercial and monetary gain without obtaining her prior consent.” She also maintained that Hussain Ustara had assisted law enforcement agencies and intelligence officials in preventing crimes, particularly in Mumbai, and should not be depicted negatively.
Set to release in theatres on February 13, the film also features an impressive ensemble cast, including Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, Tamannaah Bhatia and Vikrant Massey in a special guest appearance.
