News18 India Revamps Prime-Time Line-Up With Seven Anchor-Led Shows

News18 India has unveiled a revamped prime-time programming slate, bringing together a mix of news, debate, field reporting and explanatory journalism formats as it looks to strengthen audience engagement across the evening news cycle.

The network’s new line-up features Major Gaurav Arya, Arpita Arya, Prateek Trivedi, Amish Devgan, Kishore Ajwani, Sushant Sinha

and Aman Chopra, each anchoring a distinct show aimed at different audience segments and news consumption preferences.

The schedule begins at 3:45 pm with Command Centre, hosted by Major Gaurav Arya, which focuses on defence, national security and geopolitical developments. At 4:50 pm, Arpita Arya returns to the channel with Goonj, a programme positioned around news analysis and audience-focused

discussions.

At 5:50 pm, Bhaiyaji Kahin, anchored by Prateek Trivedi, will focus on ground reporting and public sentiment, while Amish Devgan’s Aar Paar at 6:50 pm continues the channel’s political debate format.

Kishore Ajwani will host Sau Baat Ki Ek Baat at 7:50 pm, a programme centred on news analysis and investigative storytelling. The show will also feature exclusive interviews with key newsmakers on weekends.

At 8:50 pm, Sushant Sinha will anchor Desh Ki Pathshala, an explainer-based programme designed to provide context and deeper understanding of major national and international developments.

The prime-time line-up concludes with Aman Chopra’s *Desh Nahi Jhukne Denge* at 10 pm, a show that has emerged as one of the channel’s flagship properties in the Hindi news genre.

Announcing the programming changes, News18 India Managing Editor Jyoti Kamal said the network had deliberately redesigned its prime-time architecture to reflect changing viewer expectations and news consumption habits.

The line-up is designed to offer a combination of strategy, politics, field reporting, explainers and debate, while providing viewers with multiple perspectives on the day’s developments.
