Coolie: Plot

Colie is set against the gritty backdrop of smuggling operations at the Visakhapatnam harbour, where a powerful crime syndicate run by Simon Xavier and his associate Dayalan dominates the underworld with gold and organ trafficking. Rajinikanth steps into the role of Devaraj “Deva,” a principled boarding house owner who carries a mysterious past.

When Deva’s close friend dies under suspicious circumstances, he is drawn into an investigation that peels back the layers of the syndicate’s sinister empire, which even includes a modified electric chair used for executions. As the truth begins to surface, Deva’s journey takes an emotional turn when he uncovers a shocking family connection that changes everything.
