Chaos unfolded inside an air-conditioned coach of the Indore–Delhi passenger train when a woman, furious after losing her purse, began smashing the glass window of the compartment. Her outburst left many
in shock and disbelief.
The woman reportedly became furious after her purse was stolen while the train was on its way to Delhi. She is said to have approached the Railway Protection Force (RPF) for help, but when no assistance came, her frustration turned into anger. Moments later, she picked up a tray from the coach and began hitting the glass window repeatedly. The entire act was caught on camera as fellow passengers and railway officials tried to calm her down.
‘Mera Purse Chaiye, Baat Khatam’
In the video, the woman is seen sitting on her seat with a small child next to her, furiously striking the window glass of the AC compartment with a tray. Shards of glass scatter across the seat and floor as others look on from inside and outside the coach.
A man recording the video is heard asking her, “Kaun le gaya purse aapka? (Who took your purse?).” The woman replies, “Mere ko nahi pata (I don’t know).”
When he questions why she is damaging the train, she yells back, “Mera purse chaiye, baat khatam. RPF ko bolo, main nahi jaanti (I just want my purse, that’s it. Tell the RPF, I don’t care).”
Despite several people pleading with her to stop, she continues to hit the glass. “Haan jaldi bulao, RPF ko bulao (Yes, call the RPF quickly),” she shouts as people assure her that help has been called.
One of them tries to calm her down saying, “Bula diya hai RPF ko. Purse mil jaega (The RPF has been called. You will get your purse).” But she refuses to listen, repeating, “Mera purse do. Main nahi jaanti (Give me my purse. I don’t care).”
As she keeps breaking the window, a man’s voice in the background says, “Pagal hai ye, kaha se agai? (She’s crazy, where did she come from?).”

Internet Reacts With Anger And Concern
Once the clip spread online, many users took to social media to condemn the act.
One user commented, “The woman’s anger was justified, but the method was wrong. Demanding justice is a right, not vandalism. Decisions made in anger often cause more harm than truth.”
Another wrote, “Hope railway recovers every rupee to repair the window from this arrogant passenger. The child will do the same when he/she grows up. What kind of world are we living with zero civic sense.”
Someone tagged the official RPF and Railway Seva handles, demanding strict action. “Please take action against the culprit,” they wrote. Another added, “She has to pay the fine and repair charges for the damage.”
Others suggested stricter measures for such incidents. “Such people should be blacklisted to board AC coaches lifetime. Railway should have strict rules and its implications to protect railways. We are introducing new trains with top class facilities, we can’t afford such people,” a person commented.
Amid the outrage, many also expressed sympathy for the child sitting beside the woman.
“I feel so bad for the child. Someone should have taken the child aside. I don’t care about the train or that woman. But a child should not have to go through such a thing,” a viewer said.
“I am not thinking about this lady, but thinking about the mental trauma of the kid, which he or she will carry for the whole life,” read another comment.
Matter has been forwarded to concern officials for necessary action.
