Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, emerged as a huge blockbuster, and broke box office records. The two debutants turned into overnight sensations after the release of the film in July. Mohit Suri is currently in Shillong with Ahaan Panday. While fans wondered about their visit, the director has now revealed they are celebrating the film’s success, noting that their journey began at The Evening Club in Shillong and they’ve come full circle to celebrate this milestone.

Live Tonight.” In his Instagram stories, Mohit Suri revealed that their journey of Saiyaara began here, and they visited the same place to celebrate the success of Saiyaara. “From Krish K to Ahaan Pandey! Journey started here and we made it back to celebrate your success,” he wrote. Meanwhile, in the post’s caption, the director added, “From seeing you nervously and foolishly perform on stage, referencing your character “Krish k” to seeing you getting mobbed here today as a star “Ahaan Pandey” ! So proud of you @ahaanpandayy . Thank you @eveningclubshillong and Jeff for making this possible .. as promised we all came here to share the success of #saiyaara.”

Soon after Mohit Suri shared the post, his wife Uditaa Goswami tagged Saiyaara actress Aneet Padda and commented, “@aneetpadda_ you were missed a lot!” Ahaan’s mother Deanne Panday wrote, “all heart always forever & ever.”

Earlier, several pictures and videos of Ahaan and Mohit Suri posing with their fans at a café in Shillong went viral on Instagram. The actor-director duo was seen happily posing with their fans for pictures. One standout moment from the visit was Ahaan and Mohit enjoying a soulful live performance of ‘Dhun’, a song from their film Saiyaara.

Ahaan Panday’s Next Project After Saiyaara

Meanwhile, Pinkvilla reported that Ahaan has signed his second project with Aditya Chopra, and that it will be an action romance directed by Ali Abbas Zafar- the man behind blockbusters such as Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.

As per the report, it was Aditya Chopra who recommended that Ali cast Ahaan in the film, believing that a fresh face would bring an element of surprise for the audience. He believes that the Saiyaara star’s underexposure is actually his biggest advantage, and that after the film’s success, fans will be even mire curious and excited to know about his next move. The film will reportedly go on floors around the first quarter of 2026.
